Retaining a wealth of original character, they all offer comfortably furnished and well equipped interiors – Little Tern and Natterjack also enjoy their own private gardens, whilst Marram House and Herring House each boast a courtyard with garden furniture. Lying adjacent to the owners' home on the edge of the Broadland National Park, an area of unique, unspoilt beauty they are within easy reach of coastal path walks, day boat hire, cycle hire and Great Yarmouth's traditional seaside attractions, including a funfair. The historic city of Norwich, with its cathedral, castle, galleries and good shopping, is a 40 minute drive as is the charming seaside resort of Cromer. A gentle stroll along Winterton beach may well be rewarded with sightings of the local seal colony

Reviews
Great location, ideal for accessing all that the area has to offer. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet holiday base with lots of opportunity for long walks on the clean sandy beach and dunes. Cute little village with a good chippie and fantastic beachfront cafe. We'll be returning for sure!

Second time we've visited Winterton on Sea and have used this accommodation before. Remains excellent quality both cost and acommodation itself. Great base to explore the area. 10 minutes walk to a beutiful beach. Great for kids. Love it. Would book this accommodation again.

Winterton-On-Sea is a village on the east coast of Norfolk, England. It is situated not far from West Somerton, Ormesby St Margaret, Bacton-On-Sea, Martham, and Scratby and is one of over 200 towns and villages in Norfolk in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest official cities are Norwich (population 174,047), Ely (population 13,954), and Canterbury (which has a population of 43,552 according to the 2001 Census).
The village is noted for the nearby sand dunes which are the home to a number of interesting species of wildlife, as well as the Hermanus holiday camp with its unusual roundhouse chalets.
